Enhance Your Gaming with Vista-Friendly Peripherals - Part 1WIRELESS AND WIRED MICE - cont.Logitech MX Revolution | Average Retail Price: $60 / £58An ideal complement to Logitech's diNovo Edge keyboard, the Vista-certified MX Revolution cordless laser mouse is a perfect fit for right-handed gamers (lefties need not apply, sadly). An extremely comfortable mouse to grip and use, it's precise, has great range and battery life, and includes a hyper-fast MicroGear scroll wheel (to zip through lengthy documents in a snap), Vista Flip 3D support, One-Touch search, SmartShift Technology (adjustable scrolling and acceleration on a per-application basis), a battery status indicator and quick-charge cradle. Performance in games is among the best with stutter-free movement, excellent sensitivity and no lagging. Rodent wranglers will be hard pressed to find a better all-around mouse, especially in the wireless camp. It's even Mac compatible.
Logitech VX Nano Cordless Laser | Average Retail Price: $70 / £45Hankering for an ultra-portable, ultra-slim, road warrior of a rodent? Logitech's diminutive new VX Nano Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks should be at the top of your list. In fact, it’s probably the best mouse you’re going to find as a tagalong peripheral. Featuring, as of today, the world's smallest USB receiver, this point and click wonder includes many of the key features of Logitech's other next-generation wireless mice including a hyper-fast scroll wheel, laser tracking, 2.4 GHz cordless technology, five programmable buttons, super-long battery life (up to six months under ideal conditions) and a stylish, protective pouch. Great for small hands, it tracks accurately, offers near-ambidextrous use (not all buttons are mirrored) and is Mac compatible. The only failing of note is its 800 dpi laser, a bit slow when compared to the majority of desktop laser mice. Still, it's a great performer for a portable.
Logitech VX Revolution | Average Retail Price: $58 / £42If Logitech's petite VX Nano is too tiny for your digits and the MX Revolution is more of a handful than you desire, the VX is a great alternative, especially for gamers on the go. A stand-out in notebook mice, the VX includes hyper-fast scrolling via its MicroGear scroll wheel, precision laser tracking, Flip 3D support, One-Touch search, a zoom slider, battery status indicator and a compact 2.4GHz Micro-Receiver that conveniently slips inside the mouse when not in use. With the exception of lefties, this mouse is comfortable to hold and requires a single AA battery. It's not the smallest of portable rodents, but that makes it all the better for gaming. It's a quality, compact, feature filled mouse.
