Bringing the arcade experience back to life on some of the major platforms, Sega Rally (avec Revo, if you're non-European) from... err... Sega also boasts the latest rendering techniques, but the very restricted nature of the tracks (short loops of the same narrow paths) means that the memory loads should be really low. Right?
VRAM usage across resolutions and AA
VRAM usage across presets
Nearly - without using anti-aliasing, the game would be just about okay with a 256MB graphics card, except at high resolutions where a small amount of texture thrashing would take place. Unfortunately, if you want to use anti-jaggies technology then you'll really need something with more memory.

Sega Rally's graphics quality presets scale quite nicely, in terms of how much RAM they need (unlike STALKER). If one kept the resolution down, the game would probably be fine on a graphics card with 128MB but it would only just squeeze in; one would also need to keep the detail settings right down too. This does make it somewhat ugly to play though, but you can't have your cake and eat it.
