The 2007 Review - a Year of PC GamingFinal ThoughtsOur review of 2007 is actually done, so this last page is just for me to say a few heartfelt 'thank you' messages. First up is the YouGamers team - without these people, the site wouldn't exist... err, obviously. Anyway, a big group hug to Aaron, Andreas, Antti, Claudio, Chuck, Daniel, Heikki, Ilkka, Jaakko, Jani, Jarno, Joe, Markus, Martin, Mikael, Nicke, Pasi, Patrick, and Tomi; plus all of the team at Futuremark, and all of the admin and mods on the discussion board! I also want to say thank you to the following bods in the industry: Adrian, Jo and Markus at 2K Games/Take Two; Scott at 3DRealms; Suzanne, Ben and Leo at Activision; Alissa and Roxana at Atari; Laura, Simon and Tom from Barrington Harvey; Martin from Battlefront; Rebecca and Ruth at Chaloner Associates; Dean and Erica at Codemasters; Sandra at Disney; Jonathan and Jodie at EA; Gareth and Rachel at Eidos; Peter at Frogster; Lyle and Sean at Geek Speak; Victoria at Introversion; Derek at K2/SOE; Stephii and Stefano at Koch Media; Markus and Petri at Remedy; Stefan at Sega; Pawel at Techland; Greg at THQ; Helena at Ubisoft; Jonnie and Cat at Vivendi/Sierra. I know developing, publishing and reviewing is a difficult 3-way business but you've all helped to make it work for us here. Thanks for everything and yes, this means I will be hassling you all again from the first week in January! Journalistic publishing is a highly competitive business but it's comforting to know that there are lots of folk out there, who are all willing to help and support other journalists. Many thanks go to Daisuke at 4Gamer; Tom at Accelenation; Duane at Boot Daily; Allan and Mark at Driver Heaven; Nathan at Tweaknews; Michel at Technic3D; Thilo at PC Games Hardware; Theo at The Inquirer; and all the websites that post our news! Lastly, the biggest thanks must go to the thousands of people who visit the site, every day - be it to read the reviews, use the Game-o-Meter, or chat on the forum. The fact that so many of you, from all around the world, drop by every day, makes all the hard work, stress and headaches totally worth it. Apologies to anybody if I've missed you off my lists: it's honestly not personal! Thanks for 2007 and here's to 2008 - bring it on!
Cheers,
