How to Edit

Once you have a YouGamers homepage, you can customize it in many ways. Don't be fooled by the simple interface - by customizing the stylesheet and other things, and you change the looks of the page dramatically.

Make sure you are logged in to your YouGamers account. Go to your homepage, and you should see the Edit Page link in the upper right corner. Click on the link, and the page will switch into the edit mode. To change the rig or header image, click on Browse and select an image from your hard disk. Remember to submit the image immediately after that - you can change only one image per submit.

The About Me text field can contain information about you, your rig, or pretty much anything you like. The stylesheet affects many aspects of the page - from simple color changes to a complete makeover. If you are not familiar with stylesheets, this page is a good starting point. By clicking on the submit button on the bottom of the page, you submit both the About Me field and the stylesheet.

At any time, you can revert back to the original header image or stylesheet by checking the Reset to default checkbox before submitting.

The maximum sizes for the different elements of the page are:

Rig image: GIF or JPEG, 250x250 pixels, 50KB
Header image: GIF or JPEG, 742x500 pixels, 100KB. Make sure the image is exactly 742 pixels wide for best results.
About Me text field and stylesheet: about 50KB each

To make your system specs visible on your homepage, make sure you are logged in and simply run the Game-O-Meter. The specs will be updated automatically on your homepage.

NOTE: If your homepage suddenly looks weird, please try resetting your stylesheet back to normal, and redo your edits. Alternatively, you can try adding this into your stylesheet:
