We'll have a look at the N95 8GB first. Pretty much the same as the normal N95 but with a few changes. When put side by side with the original N95 you actually see how good the screen looks. To be honest it’s not really that much bigger, but certainly makes media look great.

Just came across the Nokia Internet Radio beta application; so far the only supported devices are the N95 8GB, N95, N82 and the N91.

Been giving it a go with the WLAN connection and HSDPA, both seem to work really well. The HSDPA connection had a few buffering drops with a 128kbps stream, but nothing unexpected....

Today Google released version 2.0 of their maps application (still in beta though) - the important thing to note with this version is that it uses mobile tower triangulation to work out position. The new feature is called "My Location" in the menu system.

So far ive been playing about with it on my N95 and it seems to be fantastic. Inside my building at work 'My Location'...

Originally for developers only to see how much battery drain their applications would have, this nifty little application gives you a very nice estimate of how long your battery will last!

Played about with some obvious power draining applications - music player through the speakers at 100% volume...

Classic N95 users rejoice, the new 20.x firmware is out for download so fire up your NSU and get downloading! Unfortunately I have to wait a little for T-Mobile to release their variant but hopefully it shouldnt be long.
