When you had your GTX260 you were running the benchmark in a non valid score configuration. Meaning your Nvidia GPU was doing the Physx calculations instead of your CPU, had you run vantage on your GTX 260 with GPU physx disabled your score would of been Valid but way lower than your new i7 score

i know what you mean by that, but it does give the 5870 a clear disadvantage. This shows up in gaming as well. the 5870 lagged when i had a crash in Need for Speed shift. the fact is i feel bad about buying a top of the line video card that doesn't perform as well as i had hoped for.

i know what you mean the only thing is that it is disappointing to know that my new system isn't performing well. the fact that 5870 doesn't support Physx really shows when i was playing Need for Speed Shift when it lagged during a crash.
