Drivers for Sound Blaster Live! 5.1

I'm trying to install a sound blaster live pci card but I got it with no software and the software from creative's website doesnt work. It says "software must be installed before use" or something.

I think it was here but we had a sticky that had links for the Audigy 2 soft mod that had the entire software package. I've tried searching the net but I cant find anything.

Does anyone know where I can get the entire software package for download or better yet the Audigy 2 soft mod download?

And only specific SB Live! models can soft-mod to Audigy.

Thanks but I tried all of those. It gives me that same error.

I found a standalone installer but its only for Win9x/ME.

You can force install the drivers from Creatives website, just use winrar to unpack the driver file you downloaded and then browse to the folder named 'drivers', inside that folder you'll see a file called 'setup.exe' run that and choose to overwrite any shared files, reboot when prompted and your done.
