Default Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of WWII

Roger, wilco - chocks away! Time for a spot of whizz-bang flying, dogfighting with the enemy and then back home for tea and medals! What's this? Rocket powered jets, missiles and other wonderful craft? Spiffing, just the ticket to turn the tide of the War. Hold on chaps - there's a rotten spanner in the works here...

Surrender Re: Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of WWII

Hi -- This isn't a "direct reply", but a plea for help.....

I have the game installed and it appears to be the latest "level" since the V1.01 patch does not "apply". The message is "nothing to do -- All modules up to date" or something close to that.

The reason I went to he patch is my joysticks (neither the USB Logitech nor the Microsoft SWW FF Pro (Game Port) work. I can't even get the program to recognize joystick button assignments.

If I ignore all that and "run" the game, I can get the plane to do various moves with a COMBINATION of arrow keys and mouse movement. Meither one ALONE will cause the plane to turn both ways. Right is the Mouse and left is the Left Arrow on he kbd.

Soooooo, my question is: How can I get eithe rone of the joysticks to be recognized? Incidentally, BOTH joysticks function perfecly from Windows Control Panel AND in another game which is also a flight sim type arcade.

Please help -- It looks like it might be fun if i can gain control of the plane....

Thanks,
Ron

I really dig this game, it has nice graphics and the story isn't that unrealistic like in some other WWII games. But I have to admit that I lost interest in the missions after I had played for several days. It's not that thrilling and it could have more action elements.
