Default Half-Life 2: Episode Two

The waiting seems to be getting longer with each serving but no matter, Half-Life 2: Episode 2 is out. The story moves on, introducing new problems, friends and enemies along the way but what else is new in the world of Gordon and Alyx? What happened to the train and will we ever see Barney again? And what is it with the garden gnome?

Too low of a score

it mentions that it's actually a linear scripted path from a to b.. and now that i think of it, it's true. If i had read the review before playing ep2, i'd believe it to be a dull game..but while playing it I never even noticed the scripted linear story etc, it was just great

That score seems fairly accurate and is about what i'd rate it. The section of the episode in the mine was for me a real low light of the whole episode but everything else I enjoyed very much.

It's a very well done, masterfully masked scripted path from A to B.

Problem here is that Ep2 was promoted as having "more open areas". Well, it does, but only at the end, for one battle.

Still, definitely a very good game - just not perfect.
