Default So someone returned an xbox at our store....

and supposedly nobody had approved of it. But when we had opened it in our department after we had gave them their money back, this is what we found.....completely gutted...

Oh yeah, and the cables were switched too. There were some vga cables for a computer and and an old parallel printer cable. The only thing that actually belonged in the box was the headset and the ethernet cable..No hard drive or controller....

Ouch. Did you guys refund the guy cash? Got any idea who the guy was? Is there anything you can do about it?

So, if nobody had approved it, why did you give the money (back)?

Well the guy that was working that morning was by himself, so we cannot under any circumstances leave the dept. So the girls that work at the service desk were told to see if everything is in the box, and approve....Fail!! Obviously they did not do a very good job...Management was/is still looking into who had approved it

Not sure when he bought it, but we definately would not have given a refund without a receipt within 90 days. All expensive electronic items must be approved by an electronics associate, because WE KNOW WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR!! Its funny though, the only time we dont go up to approve, this crap happens..
