Ad-Supported UbiSoft Games Released For Free

The folks over at FilePlanet are now offering completely free full versions of Ubisoft's Far Cry, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon and Rayman Raving Rabbids. So what's the catch? They're supported by in-game advertising. *dun dun duuuun!* ;)

Anyways, if you haven't played the games before and can overlook the ads, you can grab these bad boys right here.

Update: Looks like FilePlanet has pulled the Ghost Recon download for whatever reason. Luckily the FileShack has posted a mirror.

Blah... says u need cd key for Far Cry multiplayer? where might one get that from?

Hmmm, not sure. Sucks that they would req a cd key for multiplayer. I'll see if I can find anything on their forums.

Edit: Well, nothing from the devs in there. A lot of people seem to be asking the same thing. Hopefully they'll post some info soon.

Try as I might, I am unable to download Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon.

I get to the page with the download button, then it just bounces me to another game page.

Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

As far as Ad-Supported goes, where are the adds, and how frequent, anyone downloaded and played yet

Still no response on the Ubi forums about FarCry's multiplayer issue.

And it looks like FilePlanet has pulled Ghost Recon for some reason.

Ads are just on the menu page and appear while loading a map/mission/savepoint. Loading pauses for 10-15sec. while the ad is shown - so it slowes down loading but gameplay itself is not affected. In another forum it says that if you disconnect from the internet while first running the game after a fresh install there are no ads... but I didnt try it...

Thanks I'm downloading graw from fileplanet now ( well I'm waiting in line to download it... Already have FarCry, but I'm going to grab them all as these will be nice to give away to. I service lots of rigs and get allot of questions if I can't put some games on them ( to which I say yeah sure gimme the dvd and I'll install it roflmao ).. Think this version would allow me to install it on as many computers as I whish... Would be nice to have mp working though
