Kristen Bell To Appear In Assassin's Creed

Hot off the presses, UbiSoft has announced that Veronica Mars star Kristen Bell will be lending her voice and likeness to the highly anticipated Action-Adventure title, Assassin's Creed. Word is she will play a key character "whose mysterious role is an important part of the game’s intricate storyline."

Here's a little snippet from the press release:

“I was a big video gamer growing up, so working on Assassin’s Creed is my chance to be a part of video game history,” said Kristen Bell. “It’s something completely different than what I’ve done before, so it’s cool I get to branch out and try another entertainment medium. I was attracted to this project because of the intelligent storyline and the character I play. Plus I admire the artistry of the graphics of video games. I look forward to seeing what my character will look like and I can’t wait to play the game and see if I can beat it!”

Assassin's Creed is scheduled for release on the Xbox360 and PS3 next week, with the PC edition coming in early 2008.

I thought this was already known? She's the one who leaked about creed's memory system wasn't she?

Anyway, to her likeness being used. to Hollywood getting into video games in general. Especially ones that looking jarringly out of place... and can't act.

Being actor not equal being voice actor.
