New BioShock Patch Next WeekKeeping the good news coming, 2K Games has announced that they will be releasing a new BioShock patch and DLC pack next week. The two files will launch simultaneously on XBox LIVE for 360 owners, while the PC update will debut on The Cult of Rapture as a single bundle download. The announcement doesn't include any details on the new content, but ShackNews managed to get a hold of 2K's Community Manager for the scoop: 2K community manager Elizabeth Tobey tells Shacknews that the DLC will at least include extra plasmids for players to mess around with, a way to disable Vita-Chambers for hardcore play, and bug fixes. The patches will also address the game's field-of-vision perspective, following an intense bout of controversy over the way BioShock handles its widescreen display. It sounds like there will be a lot of new goodies to play around with. Can't wait! :D
