Not sure about you guys, and though this teaser doesn't show much, I somehow like it.
Cheers,

| I'm glad the good ol' theme tune is back. It wouldn't be Duke Nukem without it. Overall the teaser looks pretty neat. Definitely gonna check this out when/if it's released someday in distant future. It's Duke afterall :). |

Have 3D Realms been funding this project out of their own pockets? I'm just wondering how it's still in development.
Not that I'm complaining, though, as the trailer offers a glimmer of hope. :) |

| It definitely looks like it is using id Tech 4 (formally called the DOOM 3 engine). The graphics are not nearly as spectacular as Crysis, but DNF still looks good. I'm just ecstatic that 3D Relams didn't change the classic Duke humor or style. |

It will be interesting to see which engine they end up using. It'll also be interesting to see the min & recommended system requirements.
Cheers,

| So when they say 2009 on their website. Does that mean 2009 for the next teaser / trailer? |

It could also mean that in 2009 they will switch to a new engine!

I think they announced at some point that they're using Unreal technology. But i wouldn't be surprised if they've changed the engine again . |

I think Broussard is funding the game by gold farming in WoW.
I mean, he has to be doing something with all that time he spends not finishing the game. |

Duke Nukem Forever has always been slated as "When it's Done". So there's is no estimate for release.
HOWEVER. They always said they would release info, pics. trailers etc when they were confident the project was close to completion.
So, touch wood, we're nearly at the end of the longest wait in history for a video game. |

Well they released a trailer back in 2001 and as we can tell by today the project wasn't exactly close to completion . This new trailer is of course a very good indication that the project is at least alive.
And yes, touching wood is strongly recommended . |
