Continuing to celebrate The Lord of the Rings Online's 1st year anniversary, Turbine has announced that they'll be holding a special "Welcome Back Weekend" event on May 8-12th, where former subscribers will be able to reactivate their old accounts and play for free. A ton of new content has been added to the game in recent months, so now would be the perfect time to rekindle your Middle Earth addiction. ;)
