Burnout Paradise PC Bound

Creating a little buzz today, Electronic Arts and Criterion Games have announced plans for a PC port of their popular open-world racing title, Burnout Paradise. While no release date is given, they do promise expanded multiplayer, enhanced online features, and "community driven content." Here's a little snippet from the press release:

Originally released for the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360™ videogame and entertainment system, Burnout Paradise has won over 55 awards worldwide. Burnout Paradise delivers an open-world environment built for intense speed, excitement and exploration and sets a new standard in the seamless transition from single-player offline to social online gameplay.

Burnout Paradise for the PC will combine all the open world racing, intense speed and action of the original game with new gameplay for the PC version.

And to get us all pumped up, here's three hot new screenshots:

Holy Crap that is awesome. I always liked playing the NFS series on the PC but Burnout is even better.

Great news as I am liking the new one tons on the PS3.

I wonder if the motorcycles coming will be in the box by the time it comes out.

good news, the more racing games that come to the PC the better. But I fear this one also might not have the best support for wheel.

Why can't everyone just make it like they did in Test Drive Unlimited... its perfect!

Only reason I'd get a 360 was this game and GTA4, looks like I can stick with my trusty PC now :)
