Broadcasting live, every Saturday, in the Santa Cruz area of California, GeekSpeak has been giving its listeners the latest news and discussions on technology for 8 years now. It was a very special show for YouGamers this weekend though as our site was the main topic of debate and I was also a live guest!

The GeekSpeak radio show was hosted by Lyle Troxell, Sean Cleveland and Chris Dunphy who were all incredibly welcoming and made a live broadcast newbie feel right at home (well, as home as one can be with several thousand miles separating us). We talked about the need for a publication like YouGamers and what benefits the Game-o-Meter can bring to users; we chatted about the past, present and future of gaming too.

It was a great experience and I am very grateful to GeekSpeak for inviting me - the best bit of all though is that every live broadcast is recorded and then put online as a podcast (they were actually one of the first radio shows to do this).
