ANN0 1404 AnnouncedHot off the presses, Ubisoft has officially announced the development of ANN0 1404, the next installment in their popular building-strategy franchise. Due out in March 2009, the game will feature new customizable elements, bigger islands, an intuitive interface, a new sandbox mode and a whole lot more! Here's a nugget from the press release: Set in the Orient, ANNO 1404™ offers a richness of features never before seen, bringing the ANNO™ series to a new level. Exploring a strange and fascinating island world in the utmost East, players will get to know the culture and technology of the ancient Orient while learning the tricks of local trade, diplomacy and economy in order to build their own metropolis. Should be interesting to see how this one turns out. :)
