Hmm
Has Blizzard said yet whether or not these are procedural, randomly created, landscapes/dungeons/levels? If they are, that is mighty impressive.
Never complained or cared about the lighting one way or the other, but its still too over saturated. |

| having just played Diablo 2 last week... man this game sure is pretty, I dont care about the naysayers, Diablo 2 has plenty of colorful areas, especially when lots of spells are going off its a rainbow party =P |

| NukemNazi, yes I think I read somewhere that there truly is random levels just like in d2... I'm just not 100% sure. :/ |

The out doors are not randomly generated, but the monster spawns are. The dungeons are randomly generated though.
http://www.crispygamer.com/interviews/2008-09-05/detailing-diablo-iii-the-jay-wilson-interview.aspx
"Jay Wilson: Yes, we have a ton of random generation in the game. All the dungeons' layouts are randomly generated. The exteriors are not. We have a new system of adventures that allows us to cut sections out of the terrain to put random -- whatever -- in there. We can put random terrain, we can put in scripted events -- we wanted to add a lot more scripted events into the game." |
