Tiberium CancelledDelivering the sad news tonight, EA LA has announced that their highly anticipated squad-based shooter, Tiberium, has been canceled due to quality concerns. According to an internal memo snagged by Kotaku, the cancellation will result in the release of "several" staff members, while the rest of the team will be placed on other projects within the studio. Here's a little snippet from the the memo: The game had fundamental design challenges from the start. We fought to correct the issues, but we were not successful; the game just isn't coming together well enough to meet our own quality expectations as well as those of our consumers. Not a huge surprise, but very unfortunate news for those being let go. Best of luck to them!
