Following weeks of speculation, Obsidian Entertainment has revealed that they are no longer working on the much-hyped Aliens RPG, and that they'll be closing down the game's message board since it's "no longer a product that is in development." Backing up this news, Sega has confirmed to Giant Bomb that they have "no plans to move forward with the Aliens RPG", so they're not just switching developers. Despite the cancellation, Sega plans to continue pushing the Aliens franchise with their upcoming Aliens vs Predator and Aliens: Colonial Marines titles.
