The Force Unleashed - Ultimate Sith Edition Announced For PC

In the past I'd be excited with an announcement like this, but now I just want them to announce whether or not any DRM will be included with the purchase. After that announcement is made I can decide whether or not to be excited.

As an aside, LucasArts should abolish the word 'iconic' from all their announcements because of their heavy use of the word while pimping Star Wars Galaxies' 'New Game Enhancement'. Whenever LucasArts uses 'iconic' in a press release I automatically jump back to SWG's NGE, and that's definitely not a good reminder to promote a future title.

The reason back in 2008 that they didnt release this for pc was that the average gaming pc couldnt handle it ( what a bunch of b******t). Meanwhile back when they said that a single 9800gt cost about $120-140. Most likely they will put DRM and it will be a bad port just to sell a few more hundred thousands on pc. I for once i'm not gonna support them by bying it ( let alone after trying the game on 360 i found it mediocre to say the best )

Man nice, I was sad that the game did not come to the PC, not that it does, im happy :)
I will wait for reviews before getting it though.

DClark, sure DRM is not wanted, but I cant say it bothers me either.

Unfortunately I have to agree with the above poster...sad times.

I really do hate to be a "negative nancy" or whatever, but announcements mean nothing to me any more. If anything Im now on the defensive after hearing this anouncment. Port and the lack of DRM details in the announcement mean I should forget about this untill quite a few review sites and fellow onions have tested it.

I hear you on that anytime I see the word Port I cringe knowing that more than likely it'll run like crap, controls will be seriously limited, and support will be lack luster.

Yeah!, good news indeed, as i heard his news few days ago.

I still remember Lucasarts saying theres no pc hardware can work on their physics engine... yea... sure...

Hopefully its optimised for pc..

Hmmm.. so far its there any Lucasarts games not optimised for pc?.. no right?..

Some ppl worried abt optmisations.. they said GTA4 uses the same engine.. Euphoria Engine rite?.. or am i missing something here..

Cheers
