Blizzcon 09 is underway in Anaheim, California and the big news from the opening ceremony are out.

• New Diablo III class announced: The Monk
• New World of Warcraft Expansion - World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm

• New Main Bad Guy: Deathwing
• New races: Goblins (Horde), Worgen (Alliance)
• Flying mounts in Azeroth
• Azeroth completely remodeled, with the Cataclysm of Deathwing's arrival completely transforming many areas
• New dungeons, new raids
• New class/race combinations
• Level cap raised to 85

So, the leaks appear to be correct, but some bits were not included.

• Guild Achievements, Guild Leveling
• New Character Progression: Path of the Titans
• New heroic versions of Deadmines and Shadowfang Keep
• New battlegrounds with rated play
• New tradeskill - Archaeology

No release date yet, but current plans are "2010".
