Shattered Horizon is certifiably a blast to play and a breath of fresh air to the genre, but it does have some advanced concepts that take while to master. Partly in response to the "but there is no sound in space..." feedback, partly to educate new players, Futuremark Games Studio has released a little dose of "Learn 2 Play" - an educational video that shows how Silent Running works in Shattered Horizon.

See, there really is no sound in space and you can hear the silence as soon as you turn off that 5.1 Dolby Digital sound system that is hooked to a smart sensor package! As a bonus, newbies concentrating on HUD indicators and thruster glow won't notice you are even coming - not before it is too late.
