Grabbing out attention tonight, Valve Software has announced that they've begun beta testing a new version of Steam. The new client features a slew of improvements including new ways to organize your games list, more friend-related info, the addition of a news feed section and more! You can find a full preview of the changes right here. Those of you interested in participating in the beta can opt-in by loading up Steam and going to View>Settings>Beta Participation and selecting the UI beta.
