• As of now, first expansion, The Burning Crusade is considered to be part of the base World of Warcraft game, free of charge. Anyone with an account that has no expansions on it will receive upgrade to The Burning Crusade and the $19.99 base game now includes the first expansion.

• Free Trial accounts no longer expire. Sure, they still have the level 20 cap and other limitations but there is no longer any time limit as to how long you can play with your trial.
