NewsE3: Assassin's Creed ImpressionsOne of the most hyped games heading into this year's E3 was Ubisoft's upcoming Action title, Assassin's Creed. During the event, webmasters were treated to some hands-on time with the game and their impressions have started popping up all over the place. So find a comfy spot and get reading! To get the party started, here's a little snippet from ShackNews' preview: Playing the new Xbox 360 demo for Assassin's Creed at this year's E3, I finally got a feel for what makes the game so mesmerizing: its beautiful fluidity. The effortless flow of the protagonist's movements permeate the gameplay as he essentially swims through a sea of bodies and buildings. Just running on rooftops and climbing on walls without having a mission is a great deal of fun, which says lots about the game's playability. This element actually reminded me of Real Time Worlds' Crackdown in an exploratory sense, though jumping through the cities in that game lacked the elegance of Assassin's hero. More impressions can be found at PC.IGN, 1Up.com, TeamXbox and GameSpot. *drool* Assassin's Creed is due out for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 this November.
