The much-loved Tomb Raider series marches onwards with title number 8, called Tomb Raider: Underworld. Returning to the time and feel of Tomb Raider: Legend, the third feather in Crystal Dynamics' Lara-cap promises more of everything: more polygons, more effects, more puzzles, and more moves. Is it possible to have too much of a good thing?

What do you think will happen when reservoirs of oil and gas start to run out in the future? Will we sit down, talk through the problems? Nah... cue the guns! THQ and Kaos Studios go all politically incorrect with their futuristic team-based FPS, and decide that conflict is the best way to resolve such issues, in Frontlines: Fuel of War.

After a bit of a poor year with Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, SOE have high hopes to kick off 2008 with a bang... or should that be an arrrr? Being a pirate of old isn't a new idea for a game, but Flying Lab Software have put some serious thought into parts of their forthcoming MMO. We can take a play through the current beta to see if it will shiver yer timbers or sink with Davy Jones!

It's been over three years but the beast is back - Epic have dropped the years and gone all trilogy-like, with Unreal Tournament 3. Built with the latest Unreal Engine 3, the graphics have been given a serious update but what else is new? We poke about with the demo, frag a few folk and give our first impressions.
