Cute, innovative, but...It's hard to resist the Cute Factor that is present here, and the amount of risky innovation piled to a single game is respectable. Fresh new ideas are not easy to implement in a way that will please everyone, and in this case while individual ideas are great, and the visual design is respectable, on the gameplay side the package fails to pull together as a playable game that would entice me to stay in the Piñata Garden. I wouldn't mind just visiting it though, especially if sharing the experience with a younger player, but the UI and technical issues hampers experience and sours the deal for me in the long term. It's really a shame, as there is obviously a lot of depth to the game. Here's hoping that Rare would make another attempt at a Sandbox-style Piñata game - overall the concept is good, it's just the execution that falters here.
