The glory of ancient times

Worried that your system will not be able to pull you into the game, as it's not the most powerful about? There are three main settings on each graphical option: Low, Medium and High. Below are 2 scenes to help show you the difference:

A budget or old PC will have to put up with low quality characters.
The enviroment and landscapes don't look too bad though.

Wave goodbye to the veins, muscles and stubble on your hero and other characters. With the top view down, the characters do not appear too much different but zoomed in, their textures are lowered to a level which is acceptable and good on performance. Running through the fields, you no longer have the vegetation swaying. The shadows are still there, but slightly blocky, causing a shimmering effect when your map moves. The water reflections are also poor, just giving a slight reflective look not reflecting any of the environment.

The step up to Medium smooths things out nicely...
...and the world in which you play starts to come alive.

The muscle definition shows and stubble has grown on your hero’s face! The characters now have a lot more detail to their models, and zoomed in, their textures are not that far from the HIGH setting. Running through the fields, there are some small patches where there is vegetation swaying as you run through it. The shadows are smoothed more, but there is still a slight shimmering effect when your map moves. The water texture has increased, now with a reflection of the environment.

With our recommendations, your characters can look as good as this.
The best detail setting gives the best experience.

The way it's meant to be played! The muscle definition is there: your veins are popping out and garments have the textures of what the fabric should be! All of the characters now have the details you would come to expect and zoomed in, the quality of the enemies is superb. Running through the fields, the vegetation is swaying as you run through it nearly everywhere on the map. The shadows are now softened and no shimmering effect, making them look realistic. The water texture has now not only has a reflection of the environment, but added animations like splashes near the waterfall. It now looks like water!

Running the game on a PC equal to the publisher's minimum spec, it is not enough to enjoy the Titan Quest experience. While the processing power and memory will not cause too much of a delay, the minimum graphics card and the graphics memory is far too low. It will play the game but you will have a very juddery experience; doubling the amount of graphics memory should remove the minor stutter that is experienced but I would recommend an Get it! ATI Radeon 9500 or a Get it! NVIDIA GeForce FX 5600 as a firm minimum and nothing lower. In other aspects, the publishers have been spot on for a nice experience with their recommended specification. The 1GB is a nice sweet spot, and the processor speed will allow multiple enemies on screen without too much of a performance hit at all.
